Thomas has the prettiest voice I've heard in a long time.
He lives one hour away from Manhattan & comes to the city twice a week to
play at open mics.
When I saw him at the sidewalk cafe I begged him to be part on the NYC Kids
documentary.
He was such a perfect fit, pretty voice pretty boy.
The day we followed him around he played in the streets.
He came with us to film the skater kids because he had nowhere else to go
for the rest of the day.
It was great to have him around.

I first met Julian when I shot the M83 cover a year ago or so.
I just got attached so much to those kids on the cover that I've tried to
keep in touch with them. And this teenager documentary was perfect to reach
out to them once again.
Julian, 19 years old, use to be a model when I shot him.
He was the only one on the cover to be an official teenager model.
Today he dropped his modeling carrier to per sue acting.
He is in acting school & I wish him much luck for his castings!
He is the cutest & sweetest kid alive.

Chealse is sweeter than a cupcake.
I love her dolly eyes & big glasses.
I pretty much enjoyed each second spent with her.
She design Headbands with her friends Ginny & Peter.

I went to California :
I drove through the desert, I listened to my ipod on shuffle & slept at the
crappiest hotels I could find. When I finally strolled down Castro street in
San Fransisco I turned around & drove back to Los Angeles.

Nicki is THE skater girl.
She walk around with a Girly board.
Hangs out with skater boys all day long.
She wants to be an actress.

We stroll Soho in the nicest stores on earth with Justin 24 years old & his
best friend Carla 24 years old. Justin has all the qualities to be
everyone's best friend.

Jordan 19 years old is one of my favorite Kids.
Everything about him is Punk & Sweet.
Last Wednesday, he looked like a Brown Bunny walking the streets of China
Town.
I shot him for the M83's album cover a year back & I'm so trilled to work on
this NYC Kids documentary with him.

On the last two days we started filming a documentary about NYC Kids.
We are following around 10 to 15 teenagers on their daily life.
Lauren, 20 years old comes right out of a Hamilton movie.
She just sat on a bed with a pretty afternoon light & I felt I had just
landed on set of Virgin Suicides.
